A painting for an Indian living in NewZealand. Painted with silk dyes and fixed with steaming, this painting can be washed and will not lose its softness and colours. The theme is a combo of NZ flora and fauna with Indian birds and style. The image is of the unframed silk, hence the wrinkles.

Here is an example. A person wanting “Degournay” style painting with a storyline. So the painting was customised with 1st panel showing Flora and Fauna from the persons home town in India. Third panel is the flora and fauna from Australia and the middle is the merging of the two.
The parakeet is seen migrating from India and flying into Australia. This is 1500 cm Height and a total of 1800cm Width between 3 panels

This was customised for the First Diwali Art Exhibition held by Hindu Council in Sydney. Theme was Diwali and the painting depicts merging of the Indian and Aussie Cultures, represented by the birds and animals like Kangaroo, Koala, Cockatoos, Peacocks and Parrots, amongst lamp styled flowers. Sold to the founder of Hindu Council at the opening night.This painting generated a lot of interest when exhibited in Martin Place as well as at the Strathfield Library, winning the People’s Choice Award
